Article text
The Angus Glens
A two-day workshop working “en plein air” (weather permitting) and in the studio. We will be using a variety of mediums and the aim is to capture the scene in sketches and photographs on day 1 followed by a full day of studio work on a 30x30cm canvas on day 2. All materials are provided, including a small sketch book and a canvas. You will be able to complete at least one painting of a local scene and have plenty of inspiration gathered to work on more art either during the course or at home. You can choose either to work in oil or acrylic for your finished piece.

Day one: will consist of sketching and photographing local scenes followed by making studies on location. (please bring your own camera)
Day two: will be working on an ‘Alla Prima’ piece in the studio.

For all levels of experience. Refreshments provided but please bring your own lunch. Wrap up well and wear suitable footwear.

This group is limited to a maximum of 3 people. Booking advisable.
